Welcome To The Family Marquise!
Edgewood 96ers Sign Three-Year ABA Veteran Marquise English
NINETY SIX, S.C. — The Edgewood 96ers welcome Marquise English to the basketball family. A three-year veteran of the American Basketball Association, English joins Edgewood from the Richmond Ram Chargers, bringing professional experience to the 96ers roster.
English’s signing adds another experienced player as Edgewood continues its 2026–27 campaign. His familiarity with ABA competition gives him a valuable foundation as he learns a new system, builds connections with his teammates, and prepares to contribute in a 96ers uniform.
A New Chapter in Edgewood
Moving from Richmond to Edgewood marks the next chapter in English’s basketball journey. He joins an organization built around accountability, teamwork, and a commitment to earning success through preparation and effort.
For a veteran joining a new team, the work begins with developing chemistry and understanding how to help the group succeed. English brings three years of league experience into that process as the 96ers continue building their identity this season.
Welcome to the 96ers Family, No. 13
Featured in his No. 13 Edgewood uniform, English becomes part of a basketball family that extends beyond the court to the fans, partners, and community supporting the organization.
96ers fans, join us in welcoming Marquise English to Ninety Six. A new chapter begins, and we look forward to seeing him take the floor in red, royal blue, and white.
